The Perfect Branding for Pounamu Travel

Our client in New Zealand required a logo that would reflect a few key aspects for their new tourism company. The main part was that we had to make use of a symbol called a Koru (which is often used in Maori art as a symbol of creation and is a common symbol seen and used in New Zealand. The Koru is also a commonly used symbol in Pounamu (greenstone) carvings); this was to be the main inspiration behind the logo. The second important part was to make use of a specific colour pallete which is used in many Chinese cultures.
